The Emporia Farmers Market opens at 5pm on Wednesday, June 10, in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant, downtown Emporia. Wednesday’s market will feature Grass-Fed beef by Graze the Prairie and ready-to-eat bierocks from market vendor, Linda Simmons.
The produce selection is growing: homegrown tomatoes arrived last week and are now available at several vendor stands. Fruits and vegetables expected include strawberries, mulberries, a variety of greens, including kale and spinach, carrots, cabbage, beets, peas and more. Look forward to peppers, eggplant, and a growing selection at coming markets.
A complete calendar of events and directory of vendors, including attendance schedule for occasional vendors, can be found on the market website, emporiafarmersmarket.org and at facebook.com/emporiaFM.
